Intimidating.
That’s Toya’s first thought when he sees the piano, stark black contrasting the white and orange of the mall surroundings.
His second thought is of just how easily anyone can go and sit, play whatever they desire for all the mall goers to hear and listen. Right now, some children no older than four or five are leaning up on their tip-toes, aweing at the sounds they can make with simple presses of keys. It warm’s Toya’s heart.
The children move on, and the piano looks lonely.
Toya’s third thought is that someone needs to keep it company.
