“I couldn’t hear you, what did you say?” Shae teases, poking Grace through an opening in her hands, not realizing how red the girl actually was.
“I just said you were beautiful,” Grace reiterates, removing her hands and sighing, it was too early in the morning.
Grace was having too many thoughts for her own good, ones that made her question everything she ever thought before. She huffs once again, she was confident that she was straight? What was with the butterflies in her stomach when Shae got close? They’ve been around each other plenty of times, but she doesn’t think they’ve ever been this close (excluding quick hugs hello or goodbye). It was out of character for Shae too, but it’s not like Grace was complaining, just confused.
