Summary
Berk lived and died by its traditions during the Dragon War. Now that peace has been found at the demise of the Red Death, some traditions fall by the wayside, while others take longer to dissolve--especially when family pride and social gain are at stake. I orphaned an older, unedited version of this fic long ago when I thought I was done with HTTYD altogether. I am resurrecting and reclaiming it now.
