Summary
This fic tells the story of Lea, a lesbian army captain who has spent 10 years in the special forces and has been offered the position of equerry for Princess Anne for the 1983-1986 cycle. The Princess, as brave and inspiring as she is, is at her personal worst: her husband is negelcting her and she can't divorce him, her family is so entrenched in the Charles-Diana drama that do not have time for her, and her sporting carreer is at her lowest too. Her Children, Peter and Zara are the only thing that gives her hope.
When this particular equerry comes into her live she starts to think that maybe life isn't that bad after all..
