When the flood of feelings had left his lips, there was silence. He moved his hand as if to touch your face before remembering himself and pulling back.
What beautiful agony was this? To be so in love that it manifests in your chest like a dagger. His eyes filled with tears, which he held back, because he couldn't leave a trace of his visit. He carefully slipped from your bed to kneel on the floor, head bent, unable to bring himself to leave, knowing he must.
...Pierrot comes to visit you at night and has a realization and is basically sad and depressed and needs a hug.

Touch is vital for a person to function. They say physical contact with human beings is important for their physical and mental well-being, through various forms such as hugs, kisses, handshakes, and general proximity to one another. It doesn’t help us survive, per se, but it keeps us alive nonetheless.
Or; It had been so long since Jayce had been touched, he doesn't mind that it was Viktor doing the touching. His timing could be better, however.
