Goo doesn’t seem as banged up as Gun is, and the fact both irritates him and excites him. It’s new; it’s a challenge. There’s blood running down his face and he can feel the ache of a new scar throbbing right between his pitch black eyes, and with the distasteful way Goo had been looking at him before he thinks that maybe one day he’ll die at the hands of this boy.
A shiver runs down his spine, something buzzing just under his skin. A genuine smile stretches wide across his still bloody face. He’s never felt so damn exhilarated in his entire life.
