Summary
In the end, it was Sam who put an end to the tension between Castiel and Dean. He was tired of constantly having to fill in awkward silences when the two would just stare at each other, and of getting Dean back on topic when he was so clearly daydreaming about his angel.
“I’ve had enough of this, of you two both pretending that you don’t want the other, all while undressing each other with your eyes at the worst possible times. Dean, don’t look at me like that, you’ve gotta be quieter in the shower if you don’t want me to say anything,” at Castiel’s noise of confusion, Sam rounded on him, “and you, don’t think that just because your an angel that I don’t notice you being all too willing to help Dean work on his car, just so you can stand back and watch.”
Or, Sam tells Dean and Castiel to get their shit together, and they do.
