Summary
Scotty Gunman is a young adolescent, one of the many ordained to travel amongst the Commodore Perry Arrival in 1853 during the Bakumatsu period.
In this era of Japan, the U.S forced Japan to open it’s ports after centuries of isolation. The young American sailor disembarks on a new journey his nation set for him not expecting to meet the eyes of 橘紫苑 ( Tachibana Shion)—the daughter of a mixed merchant and samurai family he was set to provide trade with.Shion is a young adolescent who recently heard the news of the U.S entering her country—with a paranoid father who lost his wife in conflict, afraid of the arrival of foreigners her father sets her and her sister with bilingual Dutch immigrant, Aleida Machteld to learn english and nurtures their skills in wielding weaponry.
