Summary
When an alien threat descends on Mobius, veteran hero Sonic and a freshly returned Shadow join forces to perform the ultimate sacrifice in order to save their world. However, the two hedgehogs are given a second lease on life as they are transported 849,000 light years away. Together, they must put aside their differences and traverse across the galaxy, confronting maniacal demigods, the birth of a civilization, an aberrant A.I, and the answers to mysteries from both Sonic and Shadow's past.
