   Summary

   As a young elf in Doriath, Oropher has a crush on the dark-haired prince
   Gil-galad, that passes through the city on horseback followed by his elven
   army at the end of every week.
   They fell in love. After having a few intimate relations, Oropher, a Sindar elf,
   falls pregnant. He only finds out then that some Sindar male elves can fall
   pregnant and bear children.

   The Birth of a King series is about the birth and life of Thranduil until he
   becomes the Elvenking, gets married to a Sidhe elf and has an heir.
   It's also the life and death of his fathers, Oropher and Gil-galad.
