Bookmarker's Notes
"What's uhm, Professor Michael's favorite uh... position?"
Michael froze completely dead in his tracks.
His hand, which had been reaching for his laser pointer, stopped mid-air. His dark eyes widened in absolute, horrified, uncomprehending shock. He snapped his head up, his mouth dropping open in utter flabbergastment that a student had actually just voiced those exact words aloud in an active university classroom.
Jobe, meanwhile, didn't even pause his pen.
He was sitting back comfortably in his chair, one leg crossed lazily over his knee, casually writing notes in his spiral notebook, looking as calm, cool, and relaxed as if Marcus had just casually asked him for the current time or the weather forecast.
Without breaking his smooth writing rhythm, without shifting in his seat, and without even bothering to look up from his paper, Jobe replied in a calm, matter-of-fact, completely effortless tone:
"Mating press, full nelson is a close second tho."
The words hung in the warm, stagnant air of the lecture hall for a single, agonizing fraction of a second.
"JOBE SAMUEL PATRICK BELLINGHAM!" Michael shrieked.
