Steve doesn’t respond, just slowly and quietly stands up, makes his way to their bedroom on wobbly legs and only lets the tears slip out once he’s wrapped up in bed, holding Eddie’s pillow to his chest and breathes in his boyfriend’s comforting scent.

Eddie looks at her with a wolfish grin, “Oh I'm just starting this sucker! Harringtons got her,” Eddie makes eye contact with him, a glint in his eyes, “Don't ya, big boy?” Steve's jaw drops and he hears Robin let out a disgusted, albeit loving, groan. Eddie punctuates the sentence with a sloppy kiss on Steve's cheek. Steve hears groans come from the back of the van and he feels his face flush.

Summary
“Well, hi.” Steve says, his cheeks flushed. Eddie laughs and nips at his nose, “Hi loverboy.” Steve feels his stomach swoop at the pet name and drops his head into the crook of Eddie’s neck, letting out a hum as he noses the side of the musician’s neck. Eddie chuckles, and Steve relishes the feeling of it vibrating against his face.
“So,” he mumbles, “Chicago.”
“Chicago.” Eddie says back. He grins, and Steve yelps at the feeling of Eddie's hands gripping his thighs and pulling him up into his arms.

Eddie tilts his head up, Steve can't seem to make his blush go away. Eddie lifts the joint to his mouth, breathing in the smoke.
Eddie leans down, using his thumb to nudge Steve's mouth open. He blows the warm smoke into Steve's mouth, "Breathe in and hold it until I tell you otherwise but let it out if you feel like you can't do it okay?" Eddie's voice is dripping with love and gentle warmth and Steve is drowning in it.
