Summary
Begrudgingly, Badd played into his coach’s misunderstanding. Being mistaken for an alpha pissed him off to no end. Even so, his desire to play baseball far outweighed his frustration.
Despite the omega’s sacrifice, as the first game of the season commenced, Badd's hard-earned progress seemed on the verge of collapse. All it took was a single glance from the opposing team’s pitcher. Badd knew in an instant: the alpha saw right through him.
