Mammon had been dealing with his brothers’ insults for millennia, long before the human exchange student had shown up in their world. Since their fall from heaven, he had been the one tossed into the most fires, had the most bones broken, and been locked outside at least twice a week in the absolute zero temperatures that Hell’s nights reached. Any small mistake was met with a new demeaning jab, anything larger was met with a new string of bruises and cuts along his flesh.
