“Anton’s scared of Sohee,” Yushi finally murmured, eyes still closed.
“What?” Sion laughed, expecting Anton to smack Yushi on the head or deny it. But Anton just sighed, staring blankly at the cat. “Seriously?” Sion asked again.
“Seriously,” Yushi confirmed, finally reaching out to pat the cat, too. “Just look at his face right now.”
“What did he do to you, man?” Sion chuckled, trying to hold back his laughter. “Is that why you never want to sit with us in the Great Hall?”
“He didn’t do anything,” Anton muttered. “It’s just… he glares at me a lot. And the fact that he’s the best wizard of our generation doesn’t help.”

"So," Sohee continued, eyes gleaming like the day he discovered Chiki, "Would you want to come explore that haunted old manor that used to be a hospital next door with me? The owner actually invited me to check it out at night. They said it would be nice for my YouTube content."
Anton’s voice came out soft, almost a whisper. "That’s... That’s an entirely different conversation." He could already feel tears filling up his eyes.
"You said it’s just the noises!" Sohee clearly trying to win an argument again. "And think about it! Exploring the manor might actually help prove ghosts aren’t real. Because there will be no noises! This is genius!"
