They spent two weeks straight together, once. And then two years mostly together after that. Sharing a bed isn’t as uncomfortable as Susie thought it would be.
Kris sleeps with their face smushed into her collarbone, mouth slightly open, drooling. They wake up slow, and barely talk for the first couple hours of the morning. They take forever to shower, and even longer to mess around with their hair as it dries. Their toothbrush is green. Their face gets red and splotchy when they cry. Their mouth tastes like cinnamon.
