"It functions very well, does it not?" Viktor says.
He watches the pole work — slow but smooth, relentless plunging movements. The object is well-secured, drooping in a slight curve due to the soft, silicone material as it pierces forward.
Jayce gulps. He seems to be turning redder by the minute, yet clearly entranced by the moving toy given that his eyes have not left it.
Viktor flicks on a switch, and the toy picks up its speed, plunging further, deeper.
"Viktor," Jayce says at last, sounding reedy and strangled. He looks alarmingly close to fainting, the blush spreading to his ears and down his neck. "This is… what you made while I was out?"
Viktor makes good on his joke to build a certain type of machine, and he and Jayce put it to the test. For quality assurance purposes, of course.

"I'm not letting you out yet."
"What?"
"Actions and consequences, Viktor." Jayce sounds serious. Disappointed, even, a stark contrast to the panicked, floundering man from just a minute ago. "This was dangerous. I'm not letting this one go just like that."
His voice drifts closer and closer, and Viktor almost jumps out of his skin when he feels contact on his hip bone, the palm of Jayce's hand hot, seeping through the layer of his slacks.
Viktor gulps.
Despite Jayce's warning, Viktor finds himself stuck in a compromising position while trying to fix their prototype. Jayce takes it upon himself to teach Viktor a lesson in lab safety, and the importance of discipline.

It’s no secret Jayce is attractive. It’s no secret to Viktor that his body agrees with that statement. Still, his chest tightens with a slight guilt. He won’t jerk off to his roommate. Especially when the man is right on the other side, sleeping soundly and peacefully.
OR: Viktor comes back to his dorm feeling pent up and wrung out. Jayce ends up not being as asleep as he thinks he is.
