Daniela has to fix this, she has to find the source of the sickness, she has to find what has forced her to fall for Cassandra like this. It’s not fair! She wasn’t always like this, right? Something had to have changed.
But when she thinks back, all she can think about is how much she loved her big sister, how desperately she wanted to be around her, how jealous she got of the maids that caught Cassandra’s eye. The disease has always been in her, just festering like a wound growing infected, and now it needs amputation.
