Summary
“You’re no fun, Haithi…Come on, if you could do anything, what would you do?” Kaveh started fake doodling with her hand on the wall, drawing circles and writing something that Alhaitham could only decipher as being “Haiy” over and over again. The question seemed to awaken something in Alhaitham because without even thinking she got closer to Kaveh and grabbed both of her hands, making her stop drawing.
“Can I do it now?” Kaveh looked at her confused for a split second and Alhaitham mentally slapped herself because her mouth seemed to have moved faster than her brain could register. She was sure Kaveh could hear her heart beating incredibly fast against her ribcage. Kaveh then looked at her eagerly as if she finally understood what her junior meant.
