Summary
The first time he saw him was in his apartment.
Shouto’s friends had dragged him along to a party at Bakugou’s friend’s house. He wasn’t entirely sure how he had ended up here, outside of a stranger’s door in the dead of night with a handful of his classmates from high school, but he knew he was going to regret it.
When he had moved away for college, he just kind of expected that he’d never see any of his high school classmates again. Shouto visited home almost every weekend, mostly to see his mom, but nobody had said much to him since graduation. But more and more lately, he’s been getting calls from Kirishima and Kaminari with invitations to some stranger’s house. This was the first time he had accepted, mostly because he just wanted them to stop asking. There was no way he wanted to make this a routine.
That is, until he saw who the stranger was.

Summary
Enji Todoroki is a famous movie director who lives in the gorgeous, rolling hills of Hollywood. He always has a proper staff at his estate. So it makes sense that, despite his youngest son's protests, he decided to hire a new poolboy after their last one was let go.
It shouldn't be too much of an issue. All Izuku Midoriya has to do is arrive in the early hours of the morning, make sure the pool is cleaned out properly, and then go home. He's just there to do a job. Shouto's only being dramatic; a new poolboy shouldn't get in the way of his swimming practices.
Of course that makes sense. It makes perfect sense.
In theory.
(or; an au where the todoroki family is loaded and they hire a poolboy for the summer -- a poolboy that shouto just can't keep his eyes off of.)

Summary
Shouto had only seen his lifelong classmate Midoriya Izuku smile at him once.
He remembers being young, and always admiring the freckled boy from afar. He was soft, quiet and his green eyes stayed sparkling with life as he brought a smile to everyone’s faces—especially Shouto’s.
There was a day that stood out in his memory about Midoriya that he doubted the other boy remembered. Deep down, Shouto knew he shouldn’t have remembered as well, it was so long ago. But the kindness that had been extended to him that day had filled him with a fuzzy warmth that Shouto never could let go of.

“Wooooah,” Denki catches his breath. “Sorry dude.”
“No problem-o, dude.” Hanta says.
Hanta doesn’t realize he’s far too close to him, that he’s dangerously close, until when Denki’s eyes flutter open he’s staring directly into them. He’s so close he can see golden flecks from the sun reflecting in them. They’re a warm, comforting brown. In this light, they look golden. They put the sun to shame, really.
