When it was announced that Ateez were going on a three-week long vacation, all the members were more relieved than excited. After seven long years of working hard non-stop, they could finally have this time to themselves.
Seonghwa and Hongjoong were only planning on doing things they each liked to do in their free time — nowhere in their to-do lists had they mentioned falling in love.
But well, life had other plans — and so did the rest of the group, apparently.

It’s silly. They see each other all the time. They share the same bed back in Korea. But this is Paris, and Seonghwa thought—
“Yeah, about that,” Hongjoong says with a sheepish smile, scratching at the back of his head. “So, uh, I called in some overdue favors from manager-hyung and rebooked our flights for Monday evening. It’s gonna be just us and Seolhee-noona and bodyguard-hyung, because everyone else is going back as planned, but—”
He doesn’t get to finish before Seonghwa is kissing the breath out of him. His heart is a helium balloon bobbing inside his chest cavity. He’s feather-light in that moment.
Hongjoong and Seonghwa stay in Paris a couple days longer after the Fashion Week. They make the best of it.

Summary
Hongjoong grabs Seonghwa’s arm and slides the purple captain armband on him. It looks amazing on him, as most things do, but once Hongjoong settles it in place—in the same place Hongjoong would wear it—he can’t help but sit back and marvel at Seonghwa again. He looks so gorgeous, completely naked all except for the armband, sat in Hongjoong’s lap.
“It belongs to you,” Hongjoong whispers. Seonghwa reaches up and touches the armband gently. Hongjoong only hopes Seonghwa will hold his heart in his fingers with equal tenderness.
Or, it’s the first night of the new tour, they have matching outfits, and Hongjoong is adamant to show Seonghwa just how amazing he is.
