I noticed two birds hanging around near my school canteen as of late. I named one of them 'Haru', as it usually came by on sunny days; the other was named 'An', because its feathers were white. I never knew they would leave so soon. I wish I could've done something.
Even so, I knew they'd leave one day.
Two years later, I saw another bird. It had black feathers. It looked nothing like Haru or An. The day later, I walked to the canteen only to find something horrific.
