Summary
Percy was practically vibrating with excited energy as they pulled into the parking garage for his parents’ apartment complex. Jason wondered absent-mindedly if the Son of Poseidon was affecting the falling snow that seemed to almost be bouncing in time with his knee. Jason, however, was mostly distracted by his own energy. A nervous energy. He felt like he was going to throw up thinking of all the ways he could screw up the coming days.

It takes a lot of coaxing to get out of Percy what's wrong, and Jason considers himself something of an expert at it at this point, but it wasn't necessary today. He's heard the story enough times to put it together himself. He just wanted to make Percy happy; he should be able to make his boyfriend happy. But these dumplings.
Dumplings are officially the bane of Jason's existence.
Or, Percy misses out on a holiday tradition because the boys are still stuck at NRU. Jason is next to hopeless in the kitchen, but gods damn it, he's going to make today special.
