Ever since the new mall had opened up in Splatsville, it had become a popular spot for turfing, and inklings and octolings could take a break from shopping to watch matches held right in the center of the building. Mask had seen a couple from the same two teams since Aloha and Rider had gone into the store, but it seemed like at the moment the teams were swapping out.
Rider let out a light hum, before turning his gaze from the turf stage. “Maybe we should start getting practice there soon. Teams we play will probably wanna try it out since it’s new.”
This causes yet another dramatic groan to erupt from Aloha, as he leaned his weight against Rider. “You sound like Army when you say that. We’re on a date, not a recon session!”
