Summary
Hwei, an ex-PROJECT employee turned independent augmentation installation expert, and sometimes slightly under-qualified doctor-mechanic hybrid, runs into a familiar face on his way home one rainy night: Jhin, a mechanical killer for hire. The two have been getting more acquainted these last few months, and the frequency of their meetings only seems to be increasing. Unfortunately, this latest visit is a slightly concerning one. Hwei, having grown numb to this world and its surprises, isn't worried. He helps Jhin, and reminisces on their past as he does so.

The moonlight shimmered over the sea as it gently rocked the boats in the harbor. An old fisherman yawned as he waited to feel the telltale sign of a catch. He scratched the back of his neck and glanced over to see a group of men hauling supplies near one of the very distinct ships resting in this port. They stacked the crates for the Quartermaster to review and check them off the list.
