Summary
Madeleine has some secrets he can't let others know, especially not to a cookie he cherishes his bond with, so he keeps them stored in the deepest parts of his mind. He crafts himself to appear perfect in public, yet behind closed doors he suffers the dangers of his mind. The only thing giving him a sense of solace is knowing that his secrets have not been unleashed into the world. But what happens when a cookie he knew when he was younger approaches him and Espresso, and brings one of his many secrets floating up to the surface? How will he deal with the knowledge that the mage will no longer see him as the image he built himself to be?
