As far as her mother knew, right now Mafuyu was on a two weeks long study summer camp. It was a trip she planned for Mafuyu way before the school year even ended, not really giving her any choice on the matter as she gave her the pamphlet for it, telling her how good of an opportunity it would be for her to expand her horizons and gain new knowledge she otherwise wouldn't have been able to acquire. Judging by the incredibly dark and messy room Mafuyu opened her eyes to, she was definitely nowhere near said camp.
