An AU where Sirius is suddenly and dramatically made king of a great empire, and his estranged brother Regulus decides to help him, despite the fact that it means having to work with James, his brother's irritating best friend and soon-to-be high-ranking general of one of the world's biggest army. Regulus isn't entirely sure of how to stay as far away from the man with the most beautiful brown eyes he has ever seen, whilst still helping his brother navigate his new life — or rather, survive it — but he'll be damned if he doesn't try.
