Summary
“It’s almost perfect,” Will narrows his eyes and leans forward, bringing up his hands to move Mike’s hair out of his eye, fixing up his vision and allowing him to see clearly Will’s focused expression and the lack of distance between their faces.
Maybe it’s the fact that Will somehow seems to radiate sunshine or that Mike’s time is approaching fast, but he’s seeing light. A whole lot.
“There. You look… beautiful.” Will smirks as he pokes fun at Mike’s earlier comment, and Mike needs to think of some cool last words, quick.
Mike Wheeler is dying. Well, maybe he isn’t, but that’s a lot easier to accept than the idea that he might be falling in love with his best friend.
