    Willie is standing in the doorway, weapon held steady in front of his chest as the door bounces off the wall to the left. Behind Willie are two more men that Alex thinks he vaguely recognizes from around the club, also with weapons, also steady. All three are pointed at him.

    “Shit,” Alex whispers.

    Willie snorts, and drops his head down in a short laugh. “Yeah, I’d say so.”
