Summary
Neil had never given much thought to how he would die; he assumed it would have been by his father’s hands.
But when he died alongside his mother, he stood there listening to the policemen talk, asking himself how he was still here while his father was rotting six feet under with his mother.If someone asked him now, he wouldn't know the answer to how he would die.
But maybe dying in place of someone he loved would be a good way to go.
Neil doesn’t really know if that is true; he has never been in love before, so maybe he’s completely wrong.
