Summary
Elizabeth Bennet finds herself at the edge of a cliff, on her tiptoes, ready to dive. In 1942, the world is in the midst of a brutal, cruel war, and England faces heavy bombardment. Elizabeth knows she must swim to that somewhere. They cannot lose.
The problem is - as a woman, she has been swimming to that point her whole life. Now, she must work alongside Fitzwilliam Darcy, who she has loathed since her days at the University of Cambridge. Circumstances, however, force her to put her prejudices aside, and perhaps their lives - and England - will be better for it.
