Summary
THIS WORK IS ON A PERMANENT HIATUS. I WILL NOT BE FINISHING THIS WORK. SEE CHAPTER 11 FOR EXPLANATION.
Katsuki loves his friends. He does. Despite what they (hopefully don’t) think, he actually cares, in his own way. He wants to hang out with them, wants to get asked to join the group for movies or whatever dumb shit they get up to, but he hates having to tell them “no” and watching how their faces fall after the word leaves his mouth.
He wants to be involved, but his friends…
His friends can be a bit much.
Loud.
And Katsuki can’t always handle that. Sometimes it’s too exhausting to keep up, and he has to watch as they seem to form closer and closer bonds with each other, and Katsuki…
Katsuki is stuck on the sidelines.

Summary
Mitsuki drags Bakugou by the ear to anger management therapy over the months before he enters UA. This softens him in as many ways as it steels his spine, and more importantly gives Katsuki some much needed insight into his relationship with Izuku.
Things change. It starts small, with the toss of a ball and a conversation afterwards veering off the course of canon, but it doesn’t stay that way. You’d think that would be a good thing, what with therapy and a healthier version of Bakugou being the catalyst for it all.
You’d be right, but you’d also be wrong.
(I'm obsessed with the butterfly effect/For Want of a Nail making things go worse instead of better. I also am enraged that neither Izuku or canon Bakugou ever reported Endeavor for abuse. 1+1= this beautiful trainwreck.)
UPDATE: This is almost certainly never going to be a full narrative work, but I've revised and will be moving as much of my outline as I can to the end of this story.
