Summary
Very loosely based on King Shadow from the Archie Comics. Following the successful revolution of his ex-wife Queen Sally and her lover Sonic, King Shadow assumes he’ll soon be given a public execution to cement the new monarchy; it’s what he would do, were he in their position. However, he’s treated to a strange surprise when the king and queen announce that they aren’t through with him, not by a long shot. If Shadow thought the humiliation of losing his title and status were too much, he’s in for a whole new world of embarrassment. He’s starting to think being executed was a better fate than this.

Summary
He had done it a dozen more times after that. No longer at Club Rouge, but at bars and clubs that were further away so he wouldn’t run into any friends. Any friends except Amy, once. Which turned into a long lecture on safety and the dangers of being a woman at a club before she was swapping pretty outfits with him for his next nightly adventure. He would smile sweetly at strangers and wouldn’t mind when a hand pressed against his lower back to lead him somewhere, or when a man insisted they take him home. He liked it– no. He loved it. Being the center of their attention was dizzying and he couldn’t get enough of it. Being able to tease a man while they showered him in compliments and drinks before he slipped away for the night was nothing short of thrilling. He couldn’t stop; he wouldn’t even allow himself enough time to think of the repercussions of flirting with the wrong man as he delightfully accepted another drink.
