Summary
He’d never wished for time to stop as much as he did these days. Now that he was in Japan instead of America, days seem to flicker like old rusty lights. They would be spent resting, and making himself at home, as it was his home. Izumo village, with Eiji. It seemed like a dream to him, but he didn’t dare pinch himself. He didn’t dare give the universe a chance to steal this away from him.

Ash lives and they move to Japan. Soon, he will adjust to the ways of the Japanese and live his new life with Eiji. But for now, there's a bittersweet feeling of relief and guilt in the air. But whatever happens, at least they are together.
