Summary
The Commander's barrel presses against the skin of Jinx's throat. She's trapped. She knows this dark raven hair as she's seen it before. The cold sensation of the metal along her warm skin is uncomfortable, but after what she has faced, it's nothing.
Jinx knows that the woman could only hope to understand what the Zaunite siblings have been through. Vi had said so. And the Piltover-native believed it to be right. Her chest heaves as she's sitting down along the wall, amethyst eyes glowing back into the Commander's.
"Jinx." Caitlyn says in a low tone, pressing the barrel with a slightly increased amount of pressure.
"It's you, huh." The turquoise haired says, almost in a snort. "Go on, finish me off. It's not like I can go anywhere."
Caitlyn's fingers brush the trigger, in a tantalising, slow motion. Vengeance. It's what she's always wanted. For Piltover. For her mother. — Jinx watches that hand, awaiting the moment when the bullet will leave the barrel and tear through her flesh. After her fight, she thinks that she's really lived a pitiful life. She smiles weakly. The Commander pulls the trigger.
Then, nothing.
