“One night. That’s all you’ll get,” Chuuya breathes, wiping the smudged lipstick off Dazai’s parted lips with his thumb. Dazai feels the wall pressed against his shoulder blades, the intensity of Chuuya’s eyes, and his own heart beating so hard it stumbles, and he can’t get even a word out. With a weak nod, like the fool he is, he agrees.
But how could Dazai ever get enough of him, how could he possibly come so close to the sun and not want to fly higher, even if it burns him? Even if Chuuya is high in the sky, an unreachable star? How could one night ever be enough?

Summary
“Can I turn around now? You’re awfully slow,” Dazai said, rolling back and forth on the balls of his feet.
“Yeah, sure,” Chuuya replied, although he didn’t sound very sure at all. Still, that wasn’t going to stop Dazai, so true to his word, he immediately spun around.
Every single insult he had prepared got suddenly stuck in his throat.
Dazai expected Chuuya to be dressed up, but he wasn’t expecting this.
He hadn’t expected Chuuya to actually look good.
Or: Soukoku are assigned an undercover mission, and Chuuya has to dress up for it. Surely that's amazing teasing material for Dazai to use, right?

Chuuya turned his head away, but Dazai’s hand shot out, gripping his chin and forcing him to face him. His touch was firm but not harsh, as if he was staking his claim through sheer proximity.
“I’ve already tied myself to you, Chuuya,” Dazai whispered, his voice dropping to a reverent hush. “Every step you take, every thought you have—I’m there. I’ve been there for months, and you didn’t even realize it.”
“You’re disgusting,” Chuuya spat, his voice shaking with rage.
“And you’re beautiful when you’re angry,” Dazai murmured, his thumb brushing against Chuuya’s jawline. “I’ve never seen anyone so alive, so captivating. Do you know what that does to me?”
