007n7's head moved and Noli quickly leaned back to avoid the sharp tips of his horns as he pushed his jaw against Noli’s chest, mimicking whatever 1x1x1x1 had done to make Noli smell like her. A slow, sickeningly fond smile started to curve across Noli’s mask like a knife through wet clay.
007n7 wasn’t territorial over the apartment at all. He was getting territorial over Noli.
007n7's and Noli's relationship develops in college, and Noli begins to wish that he remembered literally anything at all about common demonic behaviour. Luckily, he's excellent at learning as he goes.

They knew. They knew that he was only using them. They knew that he didn’t care about them, that he thought they were just a mindless pawn in his game, that they were just his plaything, but they still didn’t leave. They didn’t. Instead, they stayed with him, night after night, withstanding each degrading, passive-aggressive remark, going through every night where they sat on the bathroom floor with their hands in their head, pulling at their hair whenever they remembered their insignificance towards him. They suffered through four years, four years with him, all because he acted like he cared for them, all because he gave them the kind of “love” they so desperately craved. They didn’t care if he didn’t mean it. They just wanted to feel.
