James Potter has been halfway in love with Regulus Black for ages now. Honestly, no one objects to this development. Not even Regulus (not that he's admitting that.) James, looking into his fourth NHL season and (knock on wood) second Stanley Cup run, really just wants one prize:
Regulus.
Regulus Black is tired. He's exhausted, really. He's tired of the press. He's tired of sleeping with boys who don't know him. He's tired of touring. He's tired of appearances. He's tired of the press. He's tired of boys who don't know him. Rinse and repeat, really.
FaceTime calls. Pasta. Los Angeles apartments. Gin & tonics. A cat named Medusa. Red ties. Flights. A beat-up red Toyota Tacoma. Skates. Two best friends (and a brother). Twitter threads. Red carpets.
And somewhere between it all, forever slots into place.

Also inspired by (and a few characters pulled from) Lumosinlove's Sweater Weather fic. I HIGHLY recommend everything about that fic. Please do read.
