“Pads, my love, would you do us a birthday favour?”
“He will never,” Evan muses.
“But you’re dying to, aren’t you, love?” Sirius knows that look. There’s Remus when he’s loving and there’s Remus when he’s starving. “I dare you to kiss Barty before I take the matter into my own hands.”
“No. Like I said, he won’t.”
“You’re wrong, babe,” Barty huffs, a grin growing flirtatious at Sirius. “I think he will.”Three years after James and Regulus reunited, Sirius’ birthday has become a tradition at Barty’s. Getting Thirty is something… And Remus has quite the willing idea to share his birthday boy. Maybe Evan, aka the Schemer, and Barty, the Meanie, helped. Sneaked the thought in for a while and teased just enough for Remus to nurse it, to see the vision of what it could be. Who knows, really.
But between flirting and fighting, Barty and Sirius have always been playing with the line, even so unintentionally. What if they’re all on the same page? What if Remus and Evan finally give them a little push?
