It hasn’t passed Negan by that Rick seems to have a very dominant side lurking inside of him. Intrigued, he finds himself secretly fantasizing about what might happen if he could somehow make his jailor unleash it on him.
Of course, fantasies are one thing and reality is another. So when Rick one day decides that his prisoner needs a much harder hand than he’s been getting so far, Negan is left with no choice but to quickly adapt to his new station in life. And as much as a part of him might have wanted this, it doesn’t mean that learning to submit to Rick will always make for smooth or easy sailing.
