    Zuko was born on a winter night like a bad omen, while Sokka was born under the high sun. They were like two sides of the same copper piece in that way—equal parts complementary and conflicting.

    If he had to rationalize it, Sokka would maybe say that this was why their souls seemed to be so intertwined and tangled. It was the best explanation he could come up with for why they lived their entire lives switching bodies with one another. His second best explanation was a lot more embarrassing and sappy.
