Gina shrugs her shoulders, “honestly, my mom’s probably having a blast interrogating him about his success, and it seems like Mack was in need of a maternal figure in his life so he can happily borrow mine for the time being…”
Or, Ricky and Gina have a much needed conversation post their kiss in the rain.

The piece of paper seems to be mocking Ricky as he stares at the cursed document lying on his coffee table.
He stares at his daughter's school application, the name Grace Porter- Bowen staring at him. Under, the names Ricky Bowen and Gina Porter declaring themselves as her parents and legal guardians.
The three separate last names irking Ricky a lot more than they usually did.
Or, Ricky finally decides to propose to Gina and enlists their daughter to help.

Enthusiastically she claps her hands together and rises on her toes, socked feet on plush carpet, “play me a song!”
Ricky, now also on his feet, places his hands in his pockets, “I would princess, but I left my guitar at home.”
From the corner of the room Gina drags out her old clunky keyboard, nowhere near as nice as the one Ricky himself uses, but it will do for now.
Using the sleeve of her (his) sweatshirt she dusts it off and presents it to him with sarcastic jazz hands.
“This thing is hardly ever used! And I hardly ever hear you play the keyboard in comparison to your guitar.”
Or, Gina’s favorite people and their piano playing ability.

“-CUT!” The booming voice of the director called, the only thing sending Gina crashing rigjt back to reality and away from the fictitious world where Ricky was really saying those words to her.
Because Gina and Ricky weren’t in love, they were actors, Co stars in a movie, fast friends and that was about it.
Or, Ricky and Gina are co stars who have to film a rain kiss together.
