“Stunning,” Jace echoes and bites the pen. “Why did he say stunning? Maybe it’s like a coded message? Maybe he’s actually complimenting you?”
Alec has no idea. But he is sure that pretty soon these adjectives are going to give him a fucking aneurysm.
“Let’s see what he says tomorrow,” Alec sighs.
“Tomorrow is the weekend,” Jace reminds him.
“For fuck’s sake!” Alec groans. “Why can’t we go to work seven days a week?”
Jace looks at him worriedly. “Bro. You need to get laid.”
Alec tells him to fuck off. But he kind of agrees.
