The minute his fingers come into contact with your skin, your entire body becomes warm and your vision starts to blur. It’s like a dam has broken, and copious amounts of pheromones flood out of you, signalling one thing.
Omega in heat.
Zayne’s pupils dilate instantly, and he has to will himself to pull his hand back. The loss of contact feels wrong. His thoughts are racing a mile a minute but he has to pull himself together as he sees your eyes start to flutter closed and redness creep up your collarbones towards your face and neck.
“Are you?-” He manages to ask before your entire body slumps forward. Zayne’s reaction time is lightning fast as he catches you, suddenly hyper aware of every point of contact between the two of you as he cradles your head against his chest. He closes his eyes and takes a couple deep breaths to ground himself. He can’t recall the last time, if ever, he had been this affected by an omega in heat. He forces himself to focus and carefully places your unconscious body back on the examination table, forcing himself to let go and make his way towards his phone on the desk despite every fibre of his being willing him to hold on to you.
