such a lovely read, i love this so so so so so much
-the unreliable narrator truly used well
-the tainted tea scene hits SO HARD wow
-when SQQ asks LBH what would make him happy and we see that their wish are the same: the happiness of the other would make them most content.
these scenes just rly hit me and make me shiver and wets my eyes lul
-"In this moment, unlike many others, Shen Qingqiu is not being cornered or pressed or coerced. Here, Binghe has offered, and now Binghe waits. Shen Qingqiu’s personality resists force and fights when pushed – will only fight when pushed – but, in the face of gentle coaxing, he bends"
-wow at further thought, the way OP wrote "illusionary binghe" and then proceeded to omit it subsequentially really makes/enhances what SQQ is feeling by forgetting it's an illusion world
-when SQQ wakes up and is terrorized at the possibility of him endangering the people precious to him with his 'sentimental heart' sobbbbbb
just the characterization in general is soo wow, the writing is great as well
edit: the way it just cites and re-cites the title High mountains, how I long is brilliant -
