He gripped the pole again, and lifted himself. He suddenly felt shy. He felt seen. It wasn't an unusual feeling while pole dancing in a strip club, but what he was going through right now was different. The man seemed to appreciate him when nobody else would. He curled into a ball in the middle of the pole, like a cocoon. Then, in sync with the melody, he suddenly unfurled, arched his back and spread out like a butterfly, his dark hair cascading towards the floor. He felt his blood boil inside of him. He parted his lips and exhaled, basking in the pleasure of the strain, as the song came to a close.
It almost felt good.
