"I'll be honest, I have no idea what went on in that scene with Siggy because from the moment Athelstan walked in with his HANDS BEHIND HIS BACK and started using TITLES and TALKING ABOUT HOW HAPPY SERVING PEOPLE MADE HIM with that look of ridiculous submission and respect on his face all I could think about was how much better that look would be between Lagertha's queenly thighs.
Bonus points:
1) Athelstan calling Lagertha by titles befitting her station when he comes up for air. I think he used Lady Lagertha in the scene, but others are welcome. I have a particular weakness for "my queen."
2) OT3 feels--I don't want Ragnar in the scene, but perhaps Largertha is enjoying having the priest to herself as a change of pace
3) Lagertha on the throne with Athelstan kneeling at her feetPs. Let's just pretend Lagertha was never pregnant because any mention of the baby or its fate will make me dissolve into a pile of sad crying goo."

There are just blacked out windows and the word Kattegat in silver block letters on the side of the building, and a short man with dark hair and a suspicious squint standing at the door checking the ID of anyone who enters. It could just be a business building, in the wrong district of the city. It could be, but it isn’t.

Athelstan is in college. He took a vow of chastity to himself and to God, swearing he would never penetrate a woman, when he was a teenager. When Floki first heard this, he laughed his ass off. Sending him a link to a sex website containing chastity devices had been a joke.
Athelstan had never thought he would end up buying one.

Summary
Gen or Thorin/Bilbo, The Nine Lives of Bilbo Baggins
An AU where either all hobbits have nine lives or Bilbo was gifted them from his adventuring days. Personally, I think it would be interesting if the lives were shown as some mark on his chest that fade with each death. Gandalf knows and while it seems cruel to risk Bilbo having to experience death more than once, he's still more focused on bringing this hobbit out of his depressing state. With everything that happens one the journey, Bilbo's going to die... several times. Goblin Town, defending Thorin, etc.By the time the Battle of Five Armies comes round, Bilbo is on his last life and uses it to Protect Thorin, Fíli and Kíli.
Bonus: Just when/how the company finds out about Bilbo's gift. Maybe they find out half way through, questioning just how many lives he's already lost and being very protective of him the rest of the way. Or they can find out from Gandalf later and feel guilty for ever doubting his worth/honor.
Optional bonus: While I really want to be heart broken, if you manage an interesting way to make it happen without hand waving it, it can have a happy ending.

Healer!Bilbo
Once in a great while, a child is born to the Tooks of the Shire with the gift of a Healing Touch. Gandalf knows that Bilbo is just such a child.When he speaks with Thorin about going on an adventure to reclaim Erebor, he insists that they must bring along a Hobbit, insists that Bilbo's necessary for the success of the quest, but he doesn't tell the dwarves why.
If and when Bilbo reveals his gift, it's entirely his choice to do so.
Bonus - Bilbo manages to heal the Durins in the immediate aftermath of the BoFA.
SUPERBONUS - At some point in the story, Bilbo heals Bifur's head.
