She traces her fingers in circles around the scar. Her reflection mirrors her movements. All she can think about is, Leon has this same scar too, on his left shoulder. Whether they’re standing face to face or back to back, there’s a straight line connecting her scar and his. Their own fucked up version of a red string, perhaps.
She wonders if Leon thinks about her too, every time he strips off his clothes and catches his own image in the mirror.
She wonders if her scar is really just the cost of her betrayal.
