Summary
Garreg Mach’s newest professor, Byleth, is strikingly similar to Edelgard: Intelligent. Confident. But also distant, and intimidatingly ambitious. His guidance quickly makes the Black Eagles an unstoppable juggernaut of a class, putting the other houses to shame.
Felix is dissatisfied. Over the school year, he develops a strong bond with Sylvain, one possibly deeper than friendship, but the Blue Lions are falling behind, not making the progress he wants to see. Byleth sees his potential being wasted, and offers him a class transfer. Reluctant to leave Sylvain but desperate to get stronger, Felix accepts.
And then Edelgard declares war on the Church of Seiros. And the Black Eagles follow her.
This is the story of two boys, torn apart by war, abandoning their homelands and everything they’ve known as they fight their way back to each other.

Summary
"Professor?” Edelgard is flushed as you pull away, nearly as red as her armor that lies discarded on the floor, and her eyes gaze up at you, heavy-lidded and hazy. “Are you all right?”
“I don’t think so,” you reply, calmly. “I think I might be having a heart attack.”
In the flurry of panic that follows for the next several minutes, you learn three things: 1. Small as she is, Edelgard is apparently strong enough to throw you over her shoulder and sprint to the medical wing within seconds, 2. Having Physic cast on you when you’re not actually dying makes you feel very queasy, and 3. You weren't having a heart attack, you were just stupidly in love.

Byleth isn’t used to having a heartbeat. Especially one that behaves so erratically whenever Edelgard is nearby.
